"Another Rip Off" A A Taj Mahal Restaurant
| Close | More Info |
Where's the meat. No value stingy portions. That is why I only eat Indian food when I travel to Surrey BC, NE Calgary, or Coxwell and Gerard in Toronto. One dish and rice should be a meal not an appetizer. Tried when on Circle Dr. and when they moved to Broadway. There used to be a great place at the north end of downtown called the Opium Den, their food was authentic and very reasonably priced. There only fault was that they lacked a tandoor.

"Warm, Kid Friendly, Affordable" Melrose Place Family Restaurant
| Close | More Info |
This place is great for families. The atmosphere is warm and most importantly (as a mother of 2), it provides a kid-friendly setting. The food is not bad at all! My son's favorite is the CLT, however, I prefer the St. Louis Baby Back Ribs. Overall, not bad! The price is right too!

"Wonderful Experience" Diplomat Steak House

The owner must be a really good diplomat that knows how to negotiate and satisfy his clients. We were treated like king! The service was wonderful, and everyone that worked there really made our dinner seemed too short. We wish we could stay there longer! Thans guys!

"Down to Earth" Willow on Wascana

My husband and I dine here quite often because the ingredients are really from "earth". They are not artificial. Moreover, recently, they have added several vegetarian dishes are are simply delightful. The Land Chowder (not to be mixed with the Clam Chowder) is a must try for any tourists. By the way, please do dine on the patio in the summer. The scene is simply spectacular!

"Great Sushi ... BUT" Michi Sushi
| Close | More Info |
Since it's opening in 2004, I've dined here a lot because of the chef's persistency to authentic Japanese food. It's actually made a reputation in Regina for stubborness. However, the interior definitely need the crew from Restaurant Makeover to do their magic. Nonetheless, I think if you are a die hard Japanese food person, you will not be disappointed.

"8oz Sirloin" 2nd Avenue Grill
| Close | More Info |
Some people say it's just the hype and it tailors to execs from Vancouver or Toronto and doesn't fit in with the toons. However, to me, it's warm and classy. The 8oz Sirloin meal was world class. Who cares about how lame their ads are. As long as you are treated with dignity and the food makes you want to go back for me, I think this is one of the best in Saskatoon!

"Interesting ... Interesting!" Granary
| Close | More Info |
Friend took me there once. At first, I thought he was taking me to a ranch or some sort. The restaurant is quite interesting in how it presents itself. It's classy. More like you are eating in a barn, but maybe that's what they want to present. Who knows. Anyways, the food was okay. The service is great, but if you aske me if I'd go back again ... hmm ... yes!

I proposed to my high school sweetheart here. It is such a romantic restaurant. Best of all, they offer private dinings, which was the reason I decided to have the dinner there that night. It was wonderful. Thanks!

"Modern French Cuisine - For Real!" Weczeria Food & Wine
| Close | More Info |
Like what the chef is trying to present to the dining scene, they offer modern French cuisine. Wait - not just any French cuisine. It's modern, and we thought the chef has done a superb job in delivering his message across. All the ingredients are sourced from local providers. The decor is simple and elegant and cozy! The gnocchi appetizer is phenomenal! Oh, the chef also came out to introduce some of his special new inventions!

I am originally from Alberta and have been to the original Koutouki for years. It's definitely the best Greek restaurant in Alberta. I am so happy that there's one in Saskatoon as well. Besides, you might end up on the TV show The Family Restaurant! I love this place!

"Horrible Service" Diplomat Steak House
| Close | More Info |
Overall, always great food and atmosphere, but a lousy waitress will completely ruin your experience. I cannot believe how bad one particular staff member was, at a place like this. It is almost like the person was either a family member and knew they couldn't be fired, or somebody who already was fired but told to wok the rest of the night... I will return ,but only because I know the place. If it had been my first time, I do not think I would have ever come back!
